Job Description

Optimi is currently looking to hire a well-organised individual who is people-oriented to join the team as the campus manager for Optimi Campus Auckland Park. The ideal candidate should have a positive outlook, embrace change, and be a team player with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate must be deadline-driven, innovative and able to suggest new teaching models that will address the future needs of education, such as increased independent learning and critical thinking. Duties
  • Promote and maintain an environment within Optimi Campus that secures high standards of planning, organising, teaching, learning, behaviour, and achievement.
  • Maintain an educational philosophy and encourage a cooperative and participating attitude on the part of all tutors and learners.
  • Plan, allocate, support, and evaluate work undertaken by all staff, ensuring clear delegation of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Manage parent interactions and general communications.
  • Develop and administer the general campus routine, including tutor session management, and coordinate all activities within the building.
  • Make recommendations to the Head of Learning Delivery to improve the excellence of the campus.

Requirements

  • Degree/diploma in a relevant field of education/subject field
  • Background in educational management (beneficial)
  • Five+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the requirements of the various phases of education
  • Computer literate
  • SACE registered
